Book Stop Inundated With Orders for "Meme's Christmas Stories"!
1/6/2006, 8:46:37 AM
The local Book Stop in Mesquite, Texas has been inundated with
orders for "Meme's Christmas Stories". They have ordered extra
copies to stock, but still can't keep up with all the orders! They
continue to have backorders for the book, and are working hard to try
to keep up with the demand, even though Christmas has come and
gone. The author L K Kelly, has requested that anyone still trying to
place orders go on line at Publish America or one of the many other
on line book stores such as Barnes and Noble or even Amazon. Some
of the books that have been ordered are now on their way to India and
the Phillipines via an Anglican Bishop of the Missionary of St Jude
Society for the children's schools. The official release date of the book
is scheduled for January 11th 2006. Although this would be slightly
after the Christmas holidays, the book makes for a wonderful read to
the children no matter the season! And now is a good time to start
shopping for next Christmas! Nothing like getting an early start,
especially when the orders are already backed up!

It doesn't hurt to follow your
heart, but listen to what your
common sense has to tell
you first.
Christmas is always filled with surprises! And
this  Christmas held a very special surprise
for me. My  youngest daughter turned the
tables on me from   one of my very own
stories, and turned it to suit   her gift to
me. And what a gift! I cried for 30
minutes or so, tons of tears of joy, and a
lot of    reminiscing. When I opened the
gift, I thought I  knew exactly what it would
be. I was only half     right!
And if you have read "Kaitlyn's Present",
then      you have the first half already. It
was a gift      truly from the heart, and
with a great deal of     thought, and a
greater amount of love, it was      given!
I just can't help myself. I love Christmas! I like lots of tinsel and ornaments and lights. I love having my family together...
Kids,grand-kids, sisters, brothers, Mom's & Dad's, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a few good friends! And lest I forget...
all of the family pets! I love spending time with mine, and with the various other personable pet extensions to our large and growing
family. If you know someone who lives alone and needs a close friend, I recommend a pet. Cat, dog, both! Hamsters, bunnies, gerbils,
birds...And if they just are not sure about it, tell them to try fostering a pet from one of the many pet rescue services around the
country, I have some listed on this site. We are often too busy thinking of ourselves or others to realize one of the most satisfying
gifts given to mankind...a precious pet! Even if it is only for a few days, weeks or months until that special pet is placed in a loving
home. And there are many that have special needs, and you just might be the one meant to rescue it!  Pets are like people. They eat,
drink, sleep, dream...most love to be held and comforted, some are stand offish and hard to get to know. But every day brings
something new and wonderful into your life.
And remember, before giving a pet for Christmas or for any other occassion, think first about how well your gift will be received, or
better yet, ask them first. You might be surprised!
